The eCounselling System is used to appoint for a counselling session with our BOU counsellor through audio, chat or video.
You make an appointment after you have only created a user account. You login and click on 'Make Appointment' option

The information shared in our counselling relationship is treated with the outmost confidentiality. However, there are both mandatory and permissive exceptions to confidentiality, including but not limited to reporting child, elder, and or dependent adult abuse, expressed threats of harm towards self or others, and when records are subpoenaed by the court of law; and this will be done with your knowledge.
Usually the counsellors meet with clients weekly or once every two weeks. However, there is no one-size-fits all approach as this is dependent upon your individual needs and goals. Some forms of therapy require daily sessions.
Counselling therapy can last from one session to six sessions depending on the client’s unique needs. Some people come for counselling with a very specific problem they need to solve and might find that one or two sessions is sufficient.
Provided you have discussed it with your counsellor in advance and it was agreed upon, it is ok to bring someone with you into your therapy session.
Yes, counsellors ask questions to understand your background, your goals and the nature of the problems or challenges that you are facing. The types of questions are dependent upon the type of counselling you are seeking as well as the type of counsellor you are seeing.
• Yes you are free to terminate a counselling relationship if you feel it’s not being helpful to you.
