General Questions
The eCounselling System is used to appoint for a counselling session with our BOU counsellor through audio, chat or video.
You make an appointment after you have only created a user account. You login and click on 'Make Appointment' option.
Kindly send an email to counsellingenquiries@staff.bou.ac.bw or call us at (+267) 3646150 during weekdays from 7:30 to 16:30.
We offer four types of counselling sessions: in-person sessions on campus, online chat with text and emoji support, video sessions with screen sharing capabilities, and audio-only sessions for voice communication.

You can modify your user details by logging into the system and click on the 'User Profile' option.
A set appointment is a scheduled counselling session with one of our qualified counsellors at a specific date and time that works for both you and the counsellor.
Yes, you can cancel your appointment through the system. Please contact our administrators or log into your account to cancel. We recommend giving at least 24 hours notice when possible.
Yes, all your personal information and counselling sessions are completely confidential. We use encrypted storage and do not share your data with third parties. Sessions are deleted after completion for your privacy.
